Constructed in the early 19th century with some 17th century remains, this house was a protected Building of Local Interest located in the parish of Grouville.
The project was to construct a functional 3-storey extension to the rear of the property creating new bathrooms and a new utility room. To the front of the property a new timber entrance portico was introduced and all existing unsuitable PVC windows replaced with more traditionally appropriate timber windows. All of the existing granite stonework was re enlivened with new lime mortar pointing throughout. All of the work was carried out in conjunction with the Historic Buildings Department to ensure that the forms and details were appropriate and not detrimental to this culturally important building.
