_{Aviation Beauport is a private charter service airport catering for executive clients and private jets. Due to increased demand for this type of tailored service a new departure lounge extension was added to create extra space to ensure continued service and quality. The single storey extension wing is clad in metallic silver corrugated aluminium cladding giving a subtle link to the form of an aircrafts fuselage and large curtain wall wrap-around glazing to contrast to the existing terminal. A lightweight cantilevered tensile structure provides both solar and weather protection to the entrance, reducing energy consumption passively and reflects the lightness and aerodynamics of flight. A new disabled lift provides a vertical link to the boardroom on the second floor of the existing building and to a large roof terrace above the extension.}
