Michael Sandle - PfA Panels at La Colomberie

With characteristic generosity, Michael Sandle RA, gave Waddington Architects his original Night and Day Percentage for Art panels for our La Colomberie Office development. Often broody in our reception area, they occasionally catch the daylight and then you appreciate the connection with their alu-bronze cousins integrated into the architecture of the finished building.

Recycled Glass Bottle Dash Render

At Waddington’s we are working with the States of Jersey & researching ways we can used recycled glass as part of our facade designs & hoping we can reuse it to create low-maintenance, low cost, sustainable & beautiful architecture.

We’re calling is BOTTLE-DASH! It’s like pebble-dash but will sparkle in the sunshine, or at night if illuminated!

We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to incorporate traditional materials into our designs, such as concrete. Printed and translucent concrete was a consideration for a recent project of ours.

Summer Social at the War Tunnels

A recent addition to our calendar is the Summer Social where we spent the afternoon locked in The Escape Rooms down at the Jersey War Tunnels followed by an evening meal at Cheffins at Beaumont. As much as we work hard we also like to make time to socialise and have fun!
